This automated tooling allows the handling of heavy metal rings of different diameters without human intervention.
Through this manipulator, the machine is able to pick up the hoops and deposit them in different storage areas. The clamping and unclamping of the hoops are automatic operations, with the diameter of the hoops being a pre-established setpoint, on the touch screen of the automaton, according to production needs.
It has a position reading on the radial shafts and stroke control on the opening of the vanes for the correct clamping of the different diameters and shapes of rings to be handled. Made of aluminium and carbon steel.
